As our Technical Services Consultant, Marketing Cloud we offer a unique and challenging role. You will be responsible for enabling customers on applications that help them with data driven marketing across various channels (email, mobile and social marketing). This includes being able to solution architect complex data migration requirements in addition to ensuring data supports multi-channel digital marekting journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

 

The successful candidate will have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) in addition to familiarity with the Salesforce platform. We expect the successful candidate to pass the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification within 4 months of joining our team.

 

You have proven experience with a technology based company to develop, execute and take ownership of campaign deployments, and support the Customer Success Director in helping to drive more revenues for our customers using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

 

Successful candidates for this position will be self-motivated and detail oriented, technically competent with proven experience developing and implementing effective data-driven marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for developing complex campaigns using AMPScript and SQL using Automation Studio, Journey Builder and CloudPages features of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. As our Technical Services Consultant, Marketing Cloud, you should have a hunger for research and be willing to continuously expand your knowledge on the latest advances in sales & marketing cloud technology.

 

A Technical Services Consultant, Marketing Cloud will be comfortable liaising with customers and look to form a strong relationship with the peers within the organizations Bubblebox help. The ability to be comfortable with a diverse toolset that complement Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is one of the most exciting aspects of the role. REPORTING TO 
Customer Success Director, Marketing Cloud

 

REQUIREMENTS & TASKS

  • Must be Internally motivated, able to work independently in a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements and produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications

  • Participate in both internal project meetings and meetings directly with the customer

  • Manage development designs across multiple projects to meet project and customer required time lines

  • Proven track record in Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base-Experience with Salesforce (and/or other cloud marketing technology) configuration and custom development in advantage

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service API's for integration purposes

  • Should have hands on expertise in some of the following technologies: C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc), Database technologies (MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)

  • A working knowledge of CSS, HTML an advantage

  • Mastery of the English language with a knowledge of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions

  • Superior research skills with the ability to translate complex topics into digestible content

  • Must have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), IBM Marketing Cloud (Silverpop), Marketo, or other similar platforms

  • Ability to complete projects to exact specifications on time

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to collaborate as well as work independently

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Keen eye for design with the ability to ensure brand consistency.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, maturity and professionalism

  • The ability to take direct criticism and continuously improve and expand upon skill set

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence in all endeavors

  • Creative thinker with passion for developing and delivering big ideas for our customers

  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Educated to diploma or degree level in Computer Science or similar

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) Experience

  • 1 year minimum experience in a technical marketing role

  • HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus

  • Operates with significant autonomy

  • Wants to be in a smaller company environment that dreams big
