Have you heard? Salesforce has recently rolled out new features and updates for Marketing Cloud. They are continuously working and releasing features that will enable you as a Marketer to better unify and manage customer data, personalize content, engage across multi channels, and measure results.

In the midst of the release, we asked our Marketing Cloud experts here at Bubblebox to highlight a specific release they are excited about and how it will benefit our customers.

Nikki Pearce, Tech Lead

“Using Einstein’s Content Selection empowers clients to be more efficient with their content testing and allows them to focus their efforts elsewhere while Marketing Cloud determines the best possible content on a 1:1 basis.”

“I’m excited about one of the Contact Builder features that allows multi-select on all contacts view. This feature allows for marketers to easily clean their contact database of smaller contact sets, such as testing contacts. With this feature, marketers can search for groups of contacts using wildcards (aellis%) and selectively delete entire groups instead of having to generate a data extension to use as the deletion target.”

“With the Enable Email Studio features release, admin users in the Marketing Cloud will now have control over enabling several features, such as Send Throttling and the ability to include a BCC email address in sends. There are multiple benefits to this update, including:

  • Saving users from having to create a case with Salesforce Support for any new feature they want activated, empowering admins and improving their efficiency.

  • Many of these features users may not have even known existed. There is nothing in the system showing that ‘Send Throttling’ exists, so if you didn’t stumble into the documentation, you may never know to ask Salesforce Support to enable it. Now all of these features will be listed in a single location within the Marketing Cloud.

  • While not all optional features are listed with this release, this paves the way for future releases to continue to build upon this list and give further control to admins.

At Bubblebox, we always ensure these optional features are known to customers. With this update, it will enable us to spend less time going through admin tasks on the customer's behalf and spend more time providing the customer with the knowledge and confidence to activate and leverage these features.”

"SFMC Quick Send from Case allows users to send a single, personalized email to an individual from a case record without using any SFDC template. This capability improves the customer experience without adding manual actions for an agent.

The Datorama Data Canvas enables the marketer to analyze data via a dynamic, personalized, and branded dashboard without the need of complex code or advanced design skills. Custom coded widgets can be also be added to the dashboard."
