It’s not often that you get to experience a little bit of magic in your professional life. I feel fortunate to have felt this way twice. First, in my role with Salesforce (starting with ExactTarget!) and now in my new (and exciting) role with Bubblebox -  a cross-cloud Silver status Salesforce Consulting Partner.

 

For over 10 years, The Bubblebox team has been helping customers maximize their investment in Salesforce technology. And for the last 5 years, I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure of working alongside the Bubblebox team as an Account Executive (AE) at Salesforce.

Starting out as a new AE, I quickly learned that Paul Gordon and his team were more than just your typical partner. I found value in introducing Bubblebox to my customers early in our discussions as their practical experience across a vast number of tools and technologies, not to mention their deep technical knowledge helped set the stage for success.

Never before had I heard my customers use words like “genius”, “rockstars” and “superstars” to describe a partner. It was reactions like this, on multiple occasions that opened my eyes to the tremendous value the right partner can have.

Based on the exceptional work by Bubblebox, I knew my customers would be successful. And in turn, so would I.

Deciding to join the Bubblebox team was a big decision. Partly because it meant leaving Salesforce - a company whose dedication to innovation, social change, and the community was something I felt so proud to be a part of. The colleagues turned friends, managers turned mentors and customers who became trusted peers have all enriched my life beyond belief. For those 5 years, I am truly grateful.

Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to embark on a new adventure. One part Marketer, two parts Sales and a front seat to business management, moving to Bubblebox represents an opportunity grow both professionally and personally. I’m looking forward to taking what I’ve learned at Salesforce and adapting it for our business.

In my new role, I’ll continue to work closely with the Salesforce teams throughout Eastern Canada and the US to help organizations realize the true value of a platform as powerful as Salesforce. Now, instead of just depicting the “art of the possible” as a Salesforce AE, I’m part of the Rockstar team who brings that vision to life.
