Grime Fighters mission is to provide the easiest and most professional services for commercial and strata properties. Gone are the days of managing multiple teams and companies to help maintain properties. This idea came to Brett Murray back in 2008 during the financial crisis. With nearly 10 years of experience in the exterior cleaning industry, he was desperate to find an innovative and effective cleaning solutions. Many commercial and strata management were dealing with companies with uncoordinated services, outdated equipment and poor communication. He took it upon himself to revolutionize the industry and bring superior communication, complementary services and top-of-the-line equipment to battle the problem.

With a large customer base and a growing team of 32 employees, Grime Fighters have come a long way since first offering gum removal services. The company has not only expanded their services and team, they have over 200 active accounts. 

 

Growing a service-based business requires a dedicated process for ensuring leads and customers are well managed. Brett and his team recognized their limitations and realized their need to invest in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Their primary focus for a CRM was to establish a solid foundation for managing contacts and opportunities, so they can spend less time on administrative tasks and more time serving their customers. 

 

Before meeting with Bubblebox, they worked with remote developers to get their Salesforce platform customized to their needs and took it upon themselves to understand and learn solutions that would help them move their business forward. Between attending a trading coaching conference and trialing an out-of-the-box system, Brett was able to collaborate with the developers to create a platform that was better tailored to their needs and future goals. However, as the demand of their business grew, Grime Fighters hit a wall and were limiting themselves based on their lack of Salesforce knowledge. They were not confident in staying up-to-date with strategies and processes that would help them manage their business while directing their developers. Something had to change.

Invoicing is an important part of the business and if not set up properly can negatively impact the business efficiency, eat away at resources and add additional costs. Prior to maximizing the features of Salesforce, the Grime Fighters team manually generated invoices which utilized valuable employee time. Bubblebox was successful in integrating Quickbooks with Salesforce to help streamline their process, generate automatic invoicing, create customer reports, and track expenses. By offering them a 360-degree view of their business, this allows the team to generate accurate financial data, allocate more time to high priority tasks and continue to provide professional services to existing and new customers.

 

Part of delivering higher quality of service is ensuring the Grime Fighter team has valuable insight on the people and buildings they work with. The production team will visit the client onsite and review their needs for the project. Based on the client’s requests, they submit a quote within 1-2 business days. The initial process required the individual team members to populate an excel spreadsheet, outlining the building details, costs, and time for services which was an inefficient use of time and didn’t allow to track open and closed cases. 

 

With Salesforce, Grime Fighters have streamlined the sales process and have the ability to capture high quality data that helps provide deeper insight on company trends and market opportunity.
